When does a child need the help of a specialist?
Depending on the age of the child, he or she may show signs of needing or perhaps needing to initiate speech therapy.
If it displays:
Difficulties in chewing or swallowing fluids
Often signs of choking
Difficulties in understanding the oral speech
Difficulty executing commands
Difficulty learning new vocabulary
Difficulty finding appropriate words
